ABOUT ME

I grew up in Cedar Creek, NE — a small town of 310 with big skies and a lot of room to dream. I was the kid who was coming up with dances to perform for our mom in the living room, casting my siblings and stuffed animals in roles they didn’t ask for, and making up dances in the mirror for hours without even realizing I was doing it. I didn’t know then that I was laying the groundwork for the career I’d fall in love with. I just knew I loved the way movement could tell a story without saying a word.

I didn’t jump straight into this work. Before all of this became my career, I did everything under the sun. Waiting tables, working front desk at a vet clinic, and working as a Behavioral Interventionist at a Tier III alternative school, where I was just doing my best to take the next right step. Everything I was doing just didn’t “click”. It wasn’t my purpose. I was going through season after season of uncertainty, but every messy chapter gave me something. Perspective. Patience. Purpose. I don’t take any of it for granted.

Now, I choreograph, direct and educate with intention, and I teach because I believe in what dance can do for people. Not just in terms of technique, but in how it builds confidence, connection, and community. Whether I’m setting a number for a musical, working with a competition team, or teaching in the studio, my goal is always the same: to create a space that feels honest, collaborative, and full of joy. I care just as much about how my students feel as I do about how they look onstage.

I’m someone who feels things deeply. I get anxious. I overthink. But I also laugh hard, work hard, and pour my whole heart into what I do. I’m obsessed with Dr. Pepper, I listen to music like it’s oxygen, and I never want to stop growing. I’m building a life and a career that reflect what I care about most: storytelling, artistry, community, and creating things that make people feel something.

If you’re here because you’re curious about my work, or thinking about collaborating, I’m genuinely so glad. Let’s make something beautiful.
